Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew
The Kew Gardens are situated on the south bank of the River Thames near Richmond, about 10 km south-west of London.
They can be reached from the London Underground and make a wonderful day trip from the big city. We visited there a few
years ago on an overcast day and had a delightful time. I could have spent days there by myself.
